What I try to tell young people is that if you come together with a mission, and it's grounded with love and a sense of community, you can make the impossible possible. John Lewis

Our Track Selling mentor and friend Roy Chitwood often said, "It's your conviction - your belief in your company - that does more to convince prospects to buy than all the facts and figures you might present."

Conviction comes across in your tone of voice, your facial expression, and your willingness to go a second mile to close a sale. Without conviction, your selling efforts sound and fall flat.

I recently attended a Track Selling workshop in which a colleague told the class, "If you do not believe your company is the best in the business, I suggest you get out. Because without that belief, your tone of voice will betray you, and you won't have the strength of conviction to make sales happen."

We hope you believe that your company is the best in its industry. When you feel that, you'll have the interest, attitude, and energy to compete for sales, be true to yourself, and have a rewarding career.

Good luck and good selling.
